My wife and I stopped by for a quick bite on our road trip through the Arizona desert. The food was delicious, the restaurant was pleasant to be in, and it was a pleasure chatting with the owner and a refreshing change from what you might hear in Germany where we live. We will definitely drop in again when we get the chance.

We are at the end of our time in Bouse. We decided not to cook today and went to the Coaxhman’s Cafe. The two ladies working were very nice. The prices are very fair. We had two (all you can eat) fish fries and iced tea. $37/2 ppl. Honestly, we didn’t eat anymore than our initial portion. We will be back next year. Thanks!

Found this jewel yesterday on the way to Phoenix. We ordered fish n chips and chicken strips. Very good, and the staff is super friendly. The only odd thing was the tall gentleman standing by the kitchen like a cafeteria monitor. That was a little creepy, sorry..

Small town Cafe right along the highway. Across from the Bouse rest area and Monument Row. Information about the old military training area near by. Not a lot of parking in front but easy off the highway. Easy entry and friendly people. The waitress was scatter brained funny and very nice. There was a few people there that seemed like regulars. The guy in back cooking came out and sat with them to chat when he wasn't busy. He greeted people as they came in until the waitress was able to get to them. A homey atmosphere. Can't speak to the whole menu we just had cherry pie. We wanted triple berry pie but they were out so we settled on cherry pie. It was very good. Cash only so don't forget the greenbacks.

I've been there a couple of times for the Friday all-you-can-eat dish & chips, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I've also had breakfast there a couple of times, which was also very good; the last time I was there I missed the breakfast period, but Nick made it for me anyway. Everyone there is always very nice & attentive.
